Unity Foods Limited, one of the leading food sector that operates across Pakistan. We are recruiting for Compliance Officer for our Office based at Port Qasim, Karachi.
An incumbent will be performing the following responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and directing quality assurance policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Directs processes and product testing to ensure quality standards are met during production.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Reports directly to the Manager with dotted to the site General Manager.
- Maintain Food Safety Quality Management System (FSQMS) database
- Conduct internal Food Safety/GMP audits with associated CAPA follow-up.
- Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by Certification & Regulatory bodies
- Jointly responsible to plan & conduct ISO-9001:2008 & ISO-22000:2005 audits
- Analyze & compile monthly Production KPI data, QA/QC/HSE data & circulate to concerns
In order to flourish and further develop in this role, you must have,
Qualification: Bachelor's / Master in Food Science & Technology
Experience: Minimum 02 Years of relevant experience
- Report writing.
- Analytical & Interpersonal Skills.
- Observant.
- Strong command on Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint.

· To carry out review of the account opening forms to ensure appropriateness of documents in respect AML Regulations and related regulatory requirements as well as Company’s internal Policies & Procedures.
· To review the existing customers to ensure that KYC documentations corroborates with the investment amount.
· To review Corporate accounts including UBOs etc.
· To perform activities relating to ongoing transaction monitoring and communicate the additional KYC documents to relevant branch / sales person.
Qualification and Experience:
Candidates must have financial background and relevant working knowledge; should be Bachelors / ACCA Finalist / ICMA Finalist with 2 years of relevant experience preferably in AMCs/financial sector.
